He is a champion of UX principles, courageous on behalf of the users and pragmatic in solving complex product challenges. Bobby is an extremely level-headed designer. Don’t let his soft-spoken nature fool you; he absolutely knows his stuff. Recently while working on an extremely complex B2B project, I witnessed, firsthand, his cool-under-pressure approach to problem solving. Furthermore, his tenacity can’t be understated. On this same project we had no personnel, time or budget for research. Whereas most people would’ve given up, Bobby took it upon himself to organize a research plan and then went out and executed it. With these findings he was able to make the smart decisions necessary to complete the work on a challenging interface. Almost singlehandedly, he redesigned the entire back-office ordering system for this Fortune 500 retailer, and it looks great.
