I’ve been professionally designing since the late 1990s, making me a seasoned pioneer in the field. Even though UX has gained significant traction in recent years, I continuously strive to pave the way and advocate for its true value within Agile methodologies, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and the corporate landscape as a whole.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Southern University A&M in Baton Rouge, LA. Like many UX professionals, my journey began in graphic design, where I honed my skills in visual communication and aesthetics. This foundation has profoundly shaped my approach to user experience, blending a strong design sense with a deep understanding of user needs.

Early in my career, I had the invaluable opportunity to develop a deep sense of user empathy through diverse experiences. This journey included:
- Quality Assurance Testing: Gaining hands-on insights into product performance and user interactions.
- Leading Technical and Customer Support: Overseeing three levels of support to understand user pain points and enhance service delivery.
- Collaborating with Marketing Analytics Teams: Analyzing user behavior and trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Participating in User Research Sessions: Engaging with third-party research firms to directly observe and understand user needs and feedback.
These experiences have collectively enriched my ability to design with empathy and precision.
